Emily Slick is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with nearly a decade of nursing experience in both critical care and psychiatric settings. She provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adolescents and adults, with a special interest in anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, sleep disorders, postpartum mental health, and other mood disorders.
Her approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and individualized. She believes effective treatment begins with listening and building a therapeutic relationship founded on trust and mutual respect. Emily recognizes that mental health is shaped by biological, psychological, social, and lifestyle factors. She works closely with each patient to develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication, along with evidence-based therapeutic and lifestyle strategies to support lasting wellness.
Emily is committed to providing thoughtful, compassionate psychiatric care that honors each patient's unique experiences. She strives to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, supported, and equipped with the tools they need to improve their mental health and overall well-being.
